RMB WineX, undisputedly South Africa’s wine show of choice, takes place in two cities during the latter quarter of the year - in Sandton from 24 to 26 October followed by the exclusive RMB WineX Cape Town Select  at the CTICC on 29 and 30 November.  As thousands of wine show visitors since 2000 will attest, RMB WineX is all about having the greatest range of award-winning wines at your fingertips, a place to glean insider winemaker facts, Cape Wine Master ‘tours’ through the myriad of varietals and styles on offer and a time to shop for Great Deals in time for the festive season.  Or just simply an opportunity to be seen on the red carpet of the good life.

 

The flagship RMB WineX Sandton in October is a 5 000m² space accommodating more than 200 exhibitors featuring the A-Z of the wine industry – from the most high profile to the lesser known boutique producers,  garagistes and accessory suppliers.  To assist with the navigation through the in excess of 1  000 wines,  wine lovers can download the show’s varietal guide in advance and make the most of the Two-Night Pass ticket.  As in 2011, Mastrantonio will provide a food fare fitting to the ultimate wine tasting experience on the move and KayaFM will supply the good vibes.

 

In November, Cape Town’s 10^th anniversary show steps up with RMB WineX Cape Town Select – a deluxe urban space for no more than 90 wine producers in the CTICC’s Ballroom with the city lights the backdrop.  Included in the ticket is a complimentary Riedel wine glass and deli voucher to add further value for visitors to the event.   Shop@Show will again offer Great Deals – where the winemakers are invited to go the extra mile in providing the very best show offers available in time for the season of celebration.

 

RMB WineX employs the services of Rotary for the shows’ wine stock management and works in collaboration with various community projects supported by the wine industry, offering a public awareness platform to anti-rhino poaching organisation RAGE, the Biodiversity Wine Initiative and Pebbles Project.
