A performance by two Australian pianists, Coady Green (photo) and Leigh Harrold currently undertaking a performance tour encompassing Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Mauritius and South Africa.
Green is 25 years old and completed a Masters in Music Performance with First Class Honours at the Faculty of Music, University of Melbourne. He has performed and recorded for ABC for the Melbourne Prokofiev Project; performed with Sydney Youth Orchestra; toured Europe with Pembroke School Chamber Singers and Chambers Orchestra as Music Captain; performed in concert tour of China on Australian Young Musicians’ Tour to Beijing, Xian and Shanghai and acted as ‘friendship ambassador’ for Australia.
Harrold has emerged in recent years as “a musician of rare talent and intelligence” (The Advertiser) and is one of Australia’s busiest and most sought-after piano players, winning the Adelaide Critics’ Circle prize for Best Emerging Artist of 2005.
Both musicians have performed extensively with orchestras and chamber music groups across Australia
