Duo Salzburg (cello & piano)
The Friends of Music’s Durban Concert Series presents
from Austria, Duo Salzburg, Yvonne Timoianu (violincello, photo) and Alexander Preda (piano).
Duo Salzburg won first prize in an International Cello competition in Chile and Gold medal and First prize at Unisa International String Competition. Yvonne is the winner of the International Cello Competition of Vino del Mar (Chile) and Gold medalist and First prize winner of the Unisa International String Competition in Pretoria. Alexander has won a Bronze medal at the prestigious Arthur Rubenstein Competition in Jerusalem.
