Grigory Alumyan (Cello) & Rinko Hama (Piano)
Moscow-born Grigory Alumyan was enrolled at age 6 at the Central Music School for Gifted Children. A medalist at numerous important European and American competitions, he was First Prize winner at the UNISA International String Competition in 2002. His chamber music partners have been such illustrious performers as Martha Argerich and Hartmut Höll.
Rinko Hama, who will partner him, is a sought-after chamber musician and established soloist who has won gold medals at international competitions in France and Israel.
The duo will play Beethoven, Schumann and Grieg.
