Klein Karoo Klassique Opening Concert
Opening concert with previous ATKV-Muziq winner Minette du Toit-Pearce (mezzo-soprano) and Philippus Hugo (piano)
Mezzo soprano Minette du Toit-Pearce, accompanied by Philippus Hugo on piano, launches this year’s feast of vocal music with a recital including works by Vivaldi, Rossini, Schubert, Richard Strauss, Saint-Saëns, Obradors and Bizet, together with Pieter de Villiers’ beloved Seven Boerneef Songs and lighter material by Christa Steyn and Leonard Cohen. Tickets include the performance, followed by a glass of wine and a delicious light meal.
