Trio Fibonacci brings together three Canadian virtuosi: violinist Julie-Anne Derome (Virginia Parker Prize of the Canada Council for the Arts), cellist Gabriel Prynn (King Edward VII Foundation Award) and Wonny Song (winner of the Washington Performing Arts Society competition). The trio was formed in 1998 and is today recognised as one of the only piano trios that can perform cutting edge contemporary music alongside masterpieces of earlier eras with equal brilliance.
