Duo Vivo will add a touch of class and elegance to any event. Camelia Onea (violin) and Berthine van Schoor (cello) are professional musicians and perform at all kinds of celebrations, weddings and special events.

Camelia Onea is a graduate of the George Enescu Institute of Music in Bucharest, Romania and is currently the concert master of the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra. She has led the orchestra in many prestigious concerts with international stars such as Luciano Pavarotti, Joshua Bell, Sarah Brightman, Katherine Jenkins and Josh Groban. She played solo violin for the South Afvrican TV series Feast of the Uninvited, Liefling and Hartland. Camelia also led the orchestra in musicals such as Lion King, Phantom of the Opera and most recently in the production of Swan Lake, with the St Petersburg Ballet Company.

Berthine van Schoor studied at the University of Stellenbosch and the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria. She has performed all over Europe as well as in Japan and India. She founded her own cello academy and is a tutor for the Unisa Music Foundation community projects. She has organized as well as performed in numerous concerts for foreign embassies in Pretoria (eg the Indian, Norwegian, Hungarian and Italian Embassies) and has been a faculty member of the International Academy of Music in Castelnuovo di Garfaganana, Italy, since 2010.

Duo Vivo plays all styles of music: classical, jazz, film and traditional. Special requests may be submitted.
